Three Details To Pay Attention To When Using An Ice Block Machine

When using an ice block machine, it is necessary to understand some common operating methods of the ice block machine.

For example, pay attention to heat dissipation issues, as ice blocks will generate some heat dissipation during the manufacturing process, so they should not be placed too close to the heat source. It not only bears the burden of the equipment, but also affects the power of the ice. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to many details.

Let's take a look at the precautions to be taken during the operation of the ice block machine.

1.Keep away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight

The ice maker should be installed away from heat sources, without direct sunlight, and in a well ventilated area. The ambient temperature of the ice maker should not exceed 35 degrees Celsius to prevent excessive environmental temperature from causing poor condenser heat dissipation and affecting the ice making effect. The ground on which the ice maker is installed should be solid and flat, and the ice maker must be kept level, otherwise it may cause non deicing and noise during operation.

2. Requires the use of an independent standard power supply

Due to the high power of the ice maker, during installation, the ice maker manufacturer recommends that the enterprise configure an independent power supply that meets the standards for the ice maker to avoid sharing a power supply with other equipment. Dedicated power supply should be equipped with fuses and leakage protection switches, and reliable grounding should be ensured. In addition, in order to avoid power fluctuations causing faults in the ice maker, fuses and leakage protection switches should also be configured for a period of time to ensure that the voltage fluctuation during the operation of the ice maker does not exceed 10% of the rated voltage.

3. Avoiding “secondary ice production”

When the power is turned off during the ice making process, the ice in the mold begins to melt. When the power is turned on again, many people will continue to use the water in the mold to make ice, which can damage the mold. This is because 'secondary ice making' causes the upper layer of water in the mold to freeze first, leaving no space to expand the lower layer and damaging the mold during freezing. Therefore, the correct method is to drain the ice mold first and then refill it with water to make ice.
