IMT15 is designed for stable edible ice production, widely used in supermarkets, beverage cooling, food processing, and concrete cooling projects.
The ice-making component of the tube ice machine consists of an evaporator, which is composed of numerous stainless steel tubes. A water distributor located at the top of the evaporator sprays water uniformly in a spiral pattern into the interior of each tube. Any excess water is collected in a reservoir at the bottom and recirculated back into the evaporator by a pump. A refrigerant flows through the space surrounding the steel tubes, engaging in a heat exchange with the water inside; consequently, the water within the tubes gradually cools down and freezes into ice. Once the thickness of the tube ice reaches the desired level, the water flow automatically ceases. Hot refrigerant gas is then introduced into the evaporator to melt the ice, causing it to detach. As the tube ice falls, the cutting mechanism activates to slice the ice into the pre-set dimensions.
