In the food processing industry, ice cubes have never been "supporting role". We have a small ice making factory customer who is facing the problem of insufficient production capacity. To this end, the customer approached Icemedal Refrigeration for a one-stop solution. After in-depth communication, we learned that the customer has a stable local customer, but the original 3 ton ice machine has been running continuously for many years and often operates at full capacity. As demand grows, the system can only meet about 40% of the demand during the peak season, resulting in frequent stockouts and production delays. At the same time, the factory has long relied on manual packaging mode, which limits production efficiency, and the layout space of the factory is limited, making it impossible to carry out large-scale renovations. Therefore, the core demand of the customer is very clear: on the premise of upgrading the existing factory facilities, complete the automation upgrade of the ice making process to achieve the expansion of production capacity.

Insufficient production capacity: The original 3 ton ice cube machine has been operating continuously for many years and has been in a high load state for a long time. At the same time, the overall market demand continues to increase, and the production of ice cubes often cannot be supplied, resulting in delayed production plans and delivery times.

Space limitation challenge: The customer's factory infrastructure and equipment layout have already been finalized, leaving very limited space for the addition cube ice machines. This higher demands on the structural design and installation flexibility of the newly added ice making system.

Balancing cost and efficiency: Customers refuse to blindly adopt fully automated ice making systems - because such ice making systems have high initial investment and long equipment recovery cycles. In contrast, they are more concerned with controlling investment and operating costs within a reasonable range while ensuring production efficiency. In response to this demand, Icemedal Refrigeration has designed a reasonable solution and tailored a semi-automatic+manual collaborative operation mode to achieve a balance between efficiency and cost.

After in-depth discussions and on-site evaluations, the Icemedal refrigeration team has tailored a core equipment automated ice making solution based on the actual production needs of customers. The solution consists of three 5 ton cube ice machines per day, which are operated in conjunction with the customer's existing 3-ton cube ice machine equipment, ultimately forming a single day total production capacity of 18 tons of edible ice production line, accurately meeting the ice demand of the customer's enterprise during the peak production season.
